RIDGEVALE BEACH

Chatham's Ridgevale Beach is one of the most popular family-oriented beach on Nantucket Sound. It's located at the end of Ridgevale Road which intersects with Rt 28 across from Chatham Pottery in South Chatham.

The warm, calmer waters of Nantucket Sound make for ideal swimming well past Labor Day and the tidal pools, large sandy beach and lifeguard on-duty make for a perfect family day at the beach.  This is a great place to enjoy the scenery, walks, and snack bar
